Have to shave moustache to operaite the cash registir?

I jus got a job at wynn dixie and they sed that in order for me to operaite the cashier i will have to shave my little moustache that grows above my upper lip .. i'm a ry gurl at heart and think it is a simbol of beauty and natiral. is this fare?
