How does it feel if u love someone in your life, but for some reason u cannot get him/ her as a life partner?

I loved a girl, she loved me too, but for some other peoples life and happiness we ended up our relationship (it was not any fight, just few tears from both of us and good bye). So, how would you feel if this would had happened to your love life(God forbid it wil never happen to anyone of u).But, by doing that we saved more than dozens of life. Please don't ask who they people are and whats the cause of doing this. Just your thoughts how would u had feeled? I was i very much pain and depressed when i ped through that. It made me more stronger and tought me to live more lonley than ever.GOD BLESS YOUR LOVE.
