Virtual Villagers 1 & 2 - need help?

OK I have both Virtual Villagers but having major probs. My 90 villagers in 1 will not move the bolders as many as put in front of it, they just walk off. In the Lost Kids (2) I can't keep food going, can soemone help me with these probs or point me to a guide or outlinded guide of what to do and not do?
