Has anyone here ever met a business owner that went out of business due to taxes?

Yes, and when taxes go it it causes the employer not to be able to hire addtional help or to expand a business. Then you have the present situation where congress (Nancy Pelosi) would not even call for a vote on extending the tax cuts, thus leaving all business in limbo about the future. I certainly would never consider attempting to expand in this atmosphere.
