What should I do about my sore tailbone?
I have been having a sore tailbone for about a month now, and I do know why. I recently got a new futon mattress which is thicker than the last one, but it feels more airy. It's hard to explain. The point is, I can feel the bars through the mattress when i do anything on it...sleep, lay down, sit, stand, etc. and I think that that is why I am having this problem. I had no injury that would lead to it so it HAS to be this damn futon/futon mattress. The frame itself is about a year old but like I have said, this mattress is about a month old, same as my tailbone problem. I know what kind of things I can do to stop it like pain relievers and soaking, but why even try that when the pain is just going to come back from sleeping on it and using it everyday. There is no other way to replace the mattress and we don't have the financial means to buy a better futon or buy a bed, so what should I do? If I keep sleeping on it, will my tailbone become severly damaged or anything like that? My dad did buy the cheapest futon frame in the whole store too, so that can also be a contributing factor. Here's a picture of the frame...Thanks :)https://www.boscovs.com/wcsstore/boscovs/images/store/product/images/51679947654029.jpg
